Important reading about health care reform

Posted in Uncategorized at 3:29 pm by gsoteapartygirl

This is serious, serious stuff folks.  Just got two great articles sent to my inbox today.  Please read them if you haven’t already.  I’ll try and compress my “must-read” list into one post sooner or later but Townhall has got at least a couple of series running about what’s in the health care legislation, one by Chuck Norris and the other by Thomas Sowell (whose medical decisions, i-iv). Check ’em out if you haven’t already.

Socialized Healthcare vs. the Laws of Economics An explanation of what can (will) happen if the government becomes more involved in paying for our health care.

And this, No Compromise on Health ‘Reform’, Why the GOP Should Resist All Entreaties to be “Bipartisan”.  We cannot be fooled by having the Democrats simply claim to take out the most offensive proposals from this bill.  There are 1000+ pages in the House version — that’s too much for any of us to have fully digested.  Pelosi is back insisting on a government option.  I think this is just a distraction and I’m not the only one.  We need to keep the pressure on and not let up.  Where, oh, where are our “media watchdogs”?  Why are they media lapdogs?  But maybe they agree with the elitists in power who think they can make decisions better than the rest of us?
